3. Implant placement — 30–60 minute procedure under local anaesthesia. Pain-free. Implant is threaded into the bone.
4. Osseointegration — 3–6 months healing period. Temporary crown may be fitted.
5. Healing abutment — Second stage — shapes the gum tissue around the future crown.
6. Crown — Impression or digital scan taken; permanent crown manufactured and fitted.
