Professional teeth cleaning in Lutsk
In-office cleaning removes plaque and tartar that a brush cannot. We explain what the procedure consists of and how often to have it.

In brief
- The complex: ultrasound + Air-Flow + polishing — one item in the price list.
- Additionally — fluoride and training in the use of interdental brushes.
- The doctor sets the visit frequency by the condition of gums and teeth.
Even with careful care, plaque builds up on teeth and, over time, hard deposits (tartar). They irritate the gums, cause bad breath and promote decay. A home toothbrush cannot cope with this — professional cleaning is needed.
Complex hygiene has three stages: ultrasound removes tartar, Air-Flow removes stain, and polishing makes the surface smooth so that plaque sticks less. Fluoride is added when indicated.
When hygiene is recommended
- Gums bleed when brushing
- Plaque, yellowing or bad breath has appeared
- Before whitening or prosthetics
- As prevention, on the doctor’s advice
- You wear braces, crowns or implants — they also need care
How it works at Dentika
- Examination. The doctor assesses the gums, teeth and level of deposits.
- Ultrasound. Removes tartar above and below the gum line.
- Air-Flow. A jet of powder and water removes stains from coffee, tea and smoking.
- Polishing. Tooth surfaces are polished; fluoride gel is applied if needed.
- Recommendations. The doctor advises how to brush and, if necessary, teaches the use of interdental brushes.
